Everything changed. The systems had to keep up
From DOS applications through Windows software to multi-user web systems running in the cloud. Each stage changed the system architecture and the way people worked. Our job was to guide clients through those changes without data loss or operational disruption.
- 1991
The first wave of private enterprise after Poland's economic transition
In April, we start the business by supplying and servicing hardware and software.
- 1993
Poland introduces VAT on 5 July. It is the first major statutory change requiring businesses to rebuild their document workflows
We deploy VAT-compliant accounting systems for our first clients – two years after the company was founded.
- 1999–2000
The Y2K problem. Vendors promote wholesale system replacement
DOS applications dominate the market. We write assembly-language software that corrects date handling in the systems our clients already use – so they do not have to replace them.
- 2000
Hardware margins erode and equipment supply becomes commoditised
Hardware supply gradually becomes a minor part of the business. We build our own Oracle-based C2 system – first deployed at a forging plant supplying the aerospace industry.
- 2011
Companies need access to shared data from multiple locations
We launch a multi-user Windows version of the system. Users can work remotely over a VPN connection.
- 2012
The browser begins to replace applications installed on individual computers
We replace the Windows desktop client with a browser-based interface, simplifying access and preparing the system for further online development.
- 2024
Companies need an integrated environment spanning sales, order management, logistics, payments and open-item clearing
We evolve PointCRM into PointERP – an integrated business management platform connecting sales, orders, procurement, logistics, payments and accounting-ready data in a single workflow.
- 2026
Mandatory KSeF is introduced in phases
We provide end-to-end handling of KSeF documents, mapping suppliers and purchase invoice line items to the corresponding master data in PointERP.
- Today
Foreign invoices outside KSeF still reach companies as PDF files
We import them without OCR. A language model extracts header and line-item data. PointERP maps them to the appropriate master records and applies validation rules, while the operator approves the result.
- Today
Banking platforms and payment service providers expose transaction data through APIs
We integrate PointERP with banking systems, Revolut, PayU and Stripe. The import identifies the counterparty, learns from confirmed matches and matches payments to open items for clearing. Uncertain cases remain with the operator.
Conclusion
Technology changes. Responsibility remains.
For many years we implemented systems made by other vendors. Some of those products disappeared from the market, while others changed hands. For clients, this meant migrations, another round of costs and the need to reconstruct years of accumulated business knowledge.
We remain responsible for our systems to this day.
That is why we develop our own technology. It allows us to evolve the system with the client's business, without losing accumulated knowledge or waiting for decisions from an external vendor.
